Our values.
Code of Conduct
Together with you, we want to create a non-discriminatory, non-judgemental space in which everyone feels safe and can express themselves - all participants are responsible for this. We do not tolerate psychological or physical violence in the form of racist, sexist, queer-hostile or inhumane behavior of any kind and will exclude you from the event. Please look out for others! If you notice that someone is feeling unwell, if someone is being discriminated against in any way, or if your own or others' boundaries are being crossed, do not hesitate to act! If you feel overwhelmed by a situation or need support, please contact the Awareness Team or a staff member who will forward you to them. Only yes means yes! Always act according to this principle of consent and make sure to obtain the explicit agreement of those around you. Please do not draw conclusions about another person's gender identity based on their appearance. Just because you read someone as male or female does not mean that person identifies as such. To prevent discrimination in the toilets, all toilets are unisex during our event. In general, we ask you to remember that regardless of how you read it, people can go to any toilet they feel is right for them. When it comes to clothing, we ask you to be sensitive with one another and to check your own privileges, in order to counteract gender-specific discrimination and the objectification of FINTA* bodies. Please keep your shirt on whenever possible outside the bathing areas – No nipple is free until all nipples are free! Even at the bathing areas, please remain mindful and respectful of others, so that everyone can feel comfortable. In order to stay more in the moment and protect everyone's privacy, we advocate a No-Photo/Video Policy. If you still take a photo of participants outside the dancefloor, please ask for their permission and, if requested, make their faces unrecognizable - Not everyone wants to appear in your gallery or on the internet. A professional photographer will document impressions of the event – you can inform them, if you do not want to be photographed. Please also be mindful and look out for each other when it comes to consumption! The open consumption of illegal drugs is prohibited on the entire site! We all make mistakes. If people use discriminatory language or ways of thinking, we try to make them aware of this through constructive criticism. We ask you to be open and listen when people offer you constructive criticism. These guidelines apply to visitors, artists and employees. If you come to our event, we expect you to abide by our rules. All performing artists will be informed in advance about our guidelines for creating safe spaces and zero tolerance for incidents. We reserve the right to cancel contracts if we determine that an artist has violated our policies. If you are new to this kind of awareness, please inform yourself before the festival or contact the awareness team on site. The team is also available for questions and information on the topic of safer use and can be contacted if you are interested.
